I am often asked what I like to do on my free time and what are my other hobbies besides photography. This is always a very hard question for me to answer as I feel like I spend all of my free time doing photography. I am often left in silence trying to come up with other things that interest me and make me stand out. But honestly, if you take away photography and any form of art from me, you are just left with a girl who fancies spending quality time with her fiance, friends, family, and her adorable boston terrier puppy. Until today I was not sure if this was a good or bad thing. Good because I devote a huge amount of time and effort into this field or bad that I do not really have any other past times. Art and more selectively, Photography completely engulfs, defines, and swallows me up. I was speaking to my fiance about this, telling him how I just recently discovered how completely boring I am if you take away my passion for photography. And he just stopped me, “Babe, it’s your career not your job. That is the difference.” And he’s completely right. I feel completely blessed to be able to do what I love every single day.
