2013 wrap up!
And that’s a wrap 2013! Select work and client list ending 2013:
Do you know how I know 2014 will be amazing? Because I’ll make it happen. Everything I have done thus far has lead me to here.
2013 has been good to me. It came and went faster than I thought it would some days. This year I reflected a lot; I learned a lot of things about myself that I didn’t know or forgot somewhere along the road. I pushed myself WAY outside of my comfort zones. (That’s where all the fun happens anyway.) I have surprised and impressed myself. Which is a hard thing to do. I traveled. I stood in the middle of everything I have ever wanted and to be apart of. And just like that my life was made. I fought and I fought hard. I got lost and found myself a long the way. I found it in me to never let myself give up, no matter how much I wanted to. It is not even an option. I found beauty in the struggle. I appreciate the not-so-great moments now because you have to go through some rough times to appreciate the good times. (I’ll try to remember that next time I don’t get the job!) I did things subconsciously. Without rhyme or reason. Without questioning. Just because. I have no regrets. I don’t believe everything happens for a reason. But I do believe in the power of getting up and getting shit done. I believe that no one is coming to find you that you have to make them see you. I don’t believe in luck.
I didn’t succeed at all my goals and resolutions. But that doesn’t matter. I have had amazing opportunities and experiences this year. Some I never thought would ever happen. I have learned a lot about myself, this industry, people, life. I have re-fallen in love with my fiance. I have gotten a lot closer with my parents who have always been amazing role models, motivators, and mentors. I have had some amazing clients this year and had the opportunity to work with so many talented and inspiring artists on awesome projects. I am forever thankful to all my family, friends, colleagues, clients, supporters and followers. I feel very blessed to be able to do what I love.
And as 2013 comes to end tonight I can only look forward with great excitement as I embark on a new year living out my dreams, represented by 10MGMT. More on that later. Oh and just a heads up, I have a lot of cool work from this year rolling over into 2014 coming out in the early half of next year. Keep your eyes out!
Some of my goals for 2014: Continue to move forward. Do not be afraid to say no. Buy my first home. Live an all around healthy lifestyle. Learn to cook! Travel. Stay Calm.
Some advice for the new years: The future is now. Live your dreams. Do what you love. Love what you do. Push through. Watch this and believe. Step outside of your comfort zone. And as always, never stop doing the things that scare you the most.
Happy New Year! xx
